On June 23, an exchange seminar on the industrialization of negative ion health functional textile raw materials jointly organized by the China Health Care Association and the China Knitting Industry Association was held in Beijing. After more than two years of repeated experimental research and repeated discussions and revisions, the Industry Standardization Committee of the China Health Care Association The negative ion health functional textiles industry association standard has been approved and will be officially released and implemented soon.
Zhou Bangyong, deputy secretary-general of the China Health Care Association, said at the meeting that in recent years, the China Health Care Association and the China Knitting Industry Association have joined forces with relevant enterprises and institutions to create a health functional textile industry chain platform of “industry, production, learning, research and use”. In the health-care functional textile industry chain, he believes that health-care textile fiber raw materials are the source of the industry chain. Only by ensuring that textile raw materials with health-care functions are developed and applied can the end-use health-care textile finished products be successfully launched.
Representatives at the meeting discussed issues such as how to better implement the standards of the Negative Ion Health Functional Textiles Industry Association, ensure the traceability of relevant products, ensure market supervision, and prevent counterfeit products from damaging the market. Tan Hui, chairman of Suzhou Jinhui Fiber New Materials, believes that the introduction of the Negative Ion Health Functional Textile Industry Association standards is not a constraint on the development and production of health-care textile materials, but the development and promotion of protective textile materials.
