Leather ingredient raw materials————–Leather formula proportion (mass parts):

Sodium dichromate————————15~25 parts;

Hydrochloric acid——————————10~20 parts;

Stearic acid————————–70~85 parts;

Aluminum trichloride (anhydrous crystal)————50~60 parts;

Sodium carbonate————————–40~50 parts;

Water———————————3~10 parts.

Leather formula preparation method: Place the leather component materials sodium dichromate and ethanol in an enamel reactor, add hydrochloric acid dropwise while stirring, and perform a redox reaction for 30 to 50 minutes after the addition, until the reactant changes from red-brown to green. Leave it for another 30 minutes, pour it into a crystallization tank and let it stand for 24 hours to precipitate sodium chloride. Take the upper green liquid and dehydrate and concentrate it under vacuum at 13.3kPa and above 95℃. After the concentration is completed, cool the temperature to 80~90℃, then add ethanol and stir for 20 minutes to obtain monohydroxychromium chloride. Add the main leather components, that is, dissolved stearic acid, ethanol-dissolved aluminum trichloride and chromium hydroxychloride into the reaction kettle, stir and raise the temperature to 60°C ± 5°C for reaction. After 30 minutes, Add sodium carbonate, maintain this temperature and continue the reaction for 2 hours. After the heat preservation is completed, leave it for 30 minutes until the material is transparent, and dissolve it in 40°C water to obtain the leather formula. Product characteristics: This product is green or blue-green, with a pH of 2.2~5.8. It is mainly used for leather waterproofing. This technology has been dedicated to testing leather components and restoring leather formulas for 5 years, helping many customers develop new products and improve product performance.
