Fabric Type
In order to facilitate the determination of the fabric production process and the selection of appropriate equipment in process design and calculation, fabrics are often classified according to their uses and finishing characteristics. (1) Classification by fiber type It can be divided into pure cotton fabrics, blended chemical fiber fabrics, pure chemical fiber fabrics and medium-long fiber fabrics. This type of fabric is a fabric made of interlaced warp and weft yarns made of corresponding fibers. (2) Classification according to the use of fabrics 1. Fabrics for work clothes are used to make various work clothes. Work clothes can be divided into underwear and outerwear. The fabrics are soft, have good moisture absorption and breathability, and are comfortable to wear; outerwear must be thick, crisp, warm, and wear-resistant. 2. Industrial fabrics are fabrics specially woven according to various technical requirements, such as conveyor belts, filter cloths, insulation cloths, artificial leather base fabrics, etc. Among them, special fabrics refer to fabrics for national defense, such as parachutes, anti-virus cloth, space suits, etc. These fabrics have special requirements and have higher requirements for certain physical and mechanical properties. 3. Decorative fabrics such as curtains, tablecloths, wall coverings, sofa covers, sheets, handkerchiefs, pillow covers, furniture fabrics, etc. generally require a beautiful and elegant appearance. (3) Classification according to finishing characteristics 1. Natural color cloth (natural color cotton cloth) is a fabric that is woven with original color spinning yarn without any printing and dyeing finishing. This type of plant generally has higher requirements on fabric dryness and appearance defects than bleached fabrics and printed fabrics. 2. Bleached fabric is a fabric made of natural cotton that has been desized, scoured and then bleached or colored. The appearance defects of this type of fabric are easy to remove during the desizing, scouring, bleaching and dyeing processes. Therefore, the general requirements are lower than those of natural fabrics. 3. Printed fabric is a fabric made of natural cotton fabric after being bleached and dyed and then printed. 4. Yarn-dyed fabric is a fabric woven from yarn or thread spun from dyed fiber, dyed yarn or fancy thread. 5. Finished fabric is a fabric that has been finished with resin, electro-finishing, shaping, and anti-shrinking. This type of fabric has a specific appearance and performance.
