Jute product development

Jute fiber products have expanded from single sacks to workwear, decorative packaging, industrial use and other fields. 1. The workwear fabrics are made of high-quality jute. Through processing, low-specificity jute yarn is spun to develop a pure jute fabric that feels soft, delicate, refreshing, and breathable. Pure cotton or polyester/cotton is used as the warp yarn, and jute is used as the weft yarn. It can form jute/cotton fabrics with good drape and good coloring properties; blend chemical fiber fabric yarns with jute and other fibers to form fabrics; it can also be used to polymerize jute with acrylic, styrene, etc. to form laminate yarn products. Products can be used on shirts, jackets, skirts, suits and more. 2. Decorative packaging fabrics Fabrics made of pure linen, interlaced, blended chemical fiber fabrics, etc. can be used as wall coverings, curtains, fabric sofas, carpets, travel trolley bags, etc. through post-printing. Packaging made of jute fiber is green, environmentally friendly, and biodegradable. In Europe, some high-end shopping malls or high-end brands provide consumers with product packaging made of jute, which is beautiful in appearance and durable. In recent years, importers have become increasingly demanding on the environmental protection of goods packaging. Natural jute fiber caters to this trend and expands the development of jute. 3. Industrial products Laminated material jute has relatively high specific strength and specific modulus. When combined with thermoplastic resin (such as polypropylene), green laminate material jute particles can be developed. The oriented 65% polypropylene is mixed with 35% jute under the action of the coupling agent maleic anhydride to form hemp-containing polypropylene particles, which can replace pure polypropylene. Its physical properties are better than pure polypropylene and its degradability It has also been greatly improved and can be widely used in automobile manufacturing, furniture industry, folding doors, fiberglass and other fields. Its jute product geotextiles are used for desert control, soil erosion control, flood relief, dams, highway slope protection, etc. 4. Development of jute nonwoven products In addition to good biodegradability, jute nonwoven fabrics also have the characteristics of good isotropy, high hardness, high surface friction properties, high moisture absorption properties, high oil absorption properties and low cost. Since 1989, the British Textile Technology Group Commodities Fund and the International Jute Organization have collaborated to develop jute nonwovens to meet increasing social needs. These products involve almost all aspects of industrial and agricultural production and daily life, such as geotechnical materials, automobile bodies, work clothes, decoration, household, health, medical supplies, urban roof greening and vegetation belts, etc. There are also some jute fabric factories in our country that have begun to use non-woven technology to produce jute and its mixture products.
