Tencel, cupro, and mulberry silk are natural silk fabrics. Please do not rub excessively or strongly stretch them when wearing them to avoid wire drawing caused by external forces. However, the average user still adheres to traditional habits when it comes to the washing and maintenance methods of Tencel, cupro, mulberry silk and other fabrics. It is divided into six major steps. Step one: Choose the right washing materials. Silk clothes such as Tencel, cupro, and mulberry silk are best washed by hand. They are usually hand washed or rinsed. You can add an appropriate amount of silk-specific detergent or household neutral shower gel. Do not use alkaline soap and washing powder for washing, and do not rub hard or mix with rough objects to avoid lint, bloom, etc. Tencel can be machine washed, but cupro and mulberry silk clothing should not be machine washed! Step 2: Washing preparation: put clean cold water in the utensil (avoid using warm water above 40 degrees) and then put in an appropriate amount of “shower gel”. Mix well with your hands. Step 3: The clothes must be turned inside out before washing (Purpose: 1. Because sweat stains remain on the reverse side; 2. Washing mulberry silk clothes inside out can effectively protect the surface gloss and avoid surface scratches during the washing process.) For example: If the surface of the clothes is obviously oily or dirty after wearing it, use a towel, dip it in shower gel, and then gently wipe the oily or dirty areas on the surface of the clothes before washing. Step 4: Wash in water (pay special attention not to use the traditional washing method of “scrubbing”, only to rub gently repeatedly. Do not twist hard after cleaning to prevent wrinkles from affecting the appearance. Dry in the shade in a ventilated place and do not expose to the sun. Step 5: Repeatedly Pour in clean cold water and gently rub the water until the shower gel residue is completely gone. Step 6: Dry with water, put the clothes hangers in place, and then put the clothes directly. Lift it up and dry it with water to effectively ensure the smoothness of the surface of the clothes. Note that the clothes should be kept facing out when drying. They must be dried in a cool environment to avoid exposure to the sun. (Pay special attention to using a steam iron when ironing. It is not advisable to touch the fabric directly to avoid causing glare and damaging the fabric. Slight shrinkage after washing is normal, and it is recommended to wear it loosely.

Tencel and cupro are both modern scientific and technological innovation raw materials. They are regenerated cellulose fibers. They are mainly used in the design and development of high-end woven fabrics and are generally used in mid-to-high-end casual fashion. Due to its short development history, many users and consumers do not understand washing methods. We recommend soaking in cold water, washing in a neutral medium, rubbing gently, and avoiding exposure to sunlight and twisting. Basically, there will be no problem.
