The preparation of shuttle box chain
(1) The weaving of the shuttle box chain used in the single-sided multi-shuttle box loom is relatively simple and does not require shuttle deployment. The shuttle box chain can be knitted directly according to the color cycle of the weft yarn and the coordination of the shuttle on the shuttle seat. For example, if the weft color cycle is: 64 blue threads, 6 green threads, 64 blue threads, 6 red threads, 6 blue threads, and 6 yellow threads, try selecting the appropriate shuttle coordination and weaving the shuttle box chain. According to the weft color matching cycle, a total of 4 shuttles are needed. Since the number of consecutive weft insertions for each weft yarn is an even number, it can be woven with a 1×4 single-sided multi-shuttle box loom. There are many options for the shuttle’s coordination table in the shuttle seat. Let’s make some comparisons, as shown in Figure 3-6 to Figure 3-9.
