Piqué mesh
Broadly speaking, it means a concave-convex style fabric with knitted coils. The coils and tuck loops are staggered to form a mesh, also known as pique fabric.
In a narrow sense, it means a 4-way, one-cycle concave-convex texture fabric woven by a single-sided circular knitting machine. Because the back of the fabric has a four-corner shape, it is called four-corner mesh, and there is also a common double pique mesh. Because the back of the fabric has a hexagonal shape, it is called hexagonal mesh.
Because the concave and convex structure on the back is similar to a football, it is also called football mesh. The reverse side of this fabric is usually used as the front side of the garment.
Rib
Rib knitted fabric is made up of a yarn forming wales of loops on the front and back sides. knitted fabrics. Common ones include 1+1 rib, 2+2 rib, and spandex rib. Rib knitted fabric has the detachability, curling and extensibility of plain weave fabric, while also having greater elasticity.
The excellent elasticity of rib fabric is used to make collars, cuffs, hems, etc. of shirts and trousers, as well as for sewing sweatshirts, vests, sportswear, and stretch shirts.
Double rib fabric is also called “cotton wool cloth”. Because the front and back are almost the same, it is also called “double-sided fabric”. Cotton woolen fabrics are widely used and come in many varieties to keep you warm and close to the body. It has great elasticity and extensibility and can be used as elastic vests, collars, cuffs, trouser cuffs, hems of clothes, etc.
Terry fabric
Terry fabric is a variety of knitted fabric. During weaving, certain yarns appear as loops on the remaining yarns of the fabric in a certain proportion and stay on the surface of the fabric, which is terry cloth.
Terry cloth is usually thicker, and the terry part can hold more air, so it has warmth retention properties and is mostly used for autumn and winter apparel. The terry part is brushed and can be processed into flannel, which has a lighter and softer feel and better thermal insulation performance.
Rome cloth
Rome cloth is a kind of knitted fabric, weft knitted, made by double-sided circular knitting machine , commonly known as chicken cloth. Roman cloth is a four-way loop. The cloth surface is not as smooth as ordinary double-sided cloth, but has slightly irregular horizontal stripes. The fabric has good elasticity both horizontally and vertically, but its horizontal stretch performance is not as good as double-sided fabric.
Generally used as pants, sports and leisure jackets, etc., it is breathable, soft, refreshing, tight and comfortable to wear.
Artificial fur fabric
Artificial fur knitted fabrics are often made of cotton yarn, viscose yarn or polypropylene yarn Use acrylic or modified acrylic as the yarn for the base fabric.
